The association Nasa Pkakjera Uss Ya Txnxisa (NAPUY), joined CENCOIC in 2012, and has grown from 39 families to 232 producers and now operates its own warehouse, giving the community greater control over the supply chain. Coffee is cultivated as an act of reciprocity with nature. Rituals often accompany planting and harvesting, asking permission from the earth.
