Benedict is the patron saint of homelessness and is a symbol of what Old Spike represents. We train and employ individuals bringing them directly out of homelessness. This seasonally changing blend will offer you a versatile and balanced espresso packed full of sweetness.
The current blend is made up of three natural processed Brazilians from the municipalities Albertina, Espirito Santo do Pinhal & Pocos de Calcas.
The small farm of Sitio Cachoeirinha in the town of Albertina is owned by four generations of coffee producers and is to be credited for the jammy, fruity characteristics of this coffee.
Paulo Scanavachi is a coffee farmer based near the city of Espirito Santo do Pinhal. The component in this blend delivers the typical, sweet, chocolate and almond characteristics expected from an extremely high quality Brazilian coffee.
Fazenda Cachoeirinha, a farm located in Pocos de Calcas, is known for their innovative and experimental approach to coffee growing. The addition of this coffee to the blend introduces a level of tropical sweet complexity.
