About Cyahinda
Cyahinda is grown by over 600 smallholder farmers in the high hills of Rwanda. Generations of growing knowledge meet modern agronomy here, with agronomists supporting farmers and cupping lots regularly through the harvest.
Farmers hand pick only ripe cherry, which is then fully washed to keep the cup clean and clear.
The land is looked after too. Coffee grows under native shade trees, while recycled coffee pulp, nitrogen-fixing cover crops and managed terraces keep the soil healthy and protect the hillsides.
Celebrating 10 Years of social impact through coffee.
We roast in London and run cafés across the city. The business and the Employment Programme are the same thing: every bag, wholesale account and flat white funds training and paid work for people who have experienced homelessness.
