Social Impact
As a social enterprise, our primary mission is to help reduce homelessness in the UK through training and employment within speciality coffee.
65% of the profits we generate are reinvested into our barista training programme.
Whether that's assisting our head roaster at our roastery or working in one of our cafes as a barista, we're committed to supporting our trainees from training to employment.
Sustainability
We've made a commitment to plant a tree for every 1kg bag of coffee that we sell, through our partnership with the Eden Reforestation Project.
Whether you are a wholesale customer or simply buying a bag online, you can now enjoy your coffee knowing not only is it responsibly sourced, it is also helping the planet.
Sourcing Quality Coffee
We ensure the coffees we serve are as fresh and seasonal as possible to showcase the wonderful diversity of flavours and aromas found in different coffees around the world.
We also have a strong focus on quality. Higher quality means a better price for the farmer, so it is very important that we continue to work with the producers that consistently supply us with high scoring coffees. This helps them secure a higher price which is often 4 - 5 times higher than the Fairtrade minimum.

Being buying this awesome Decaf for years now. Love it!!!
Tasty and smooth.
I don't drink a lot of decaf. But I do like it after dinner, as the regular stuff tends to adversely affect my sleep. This decaf blend may just be the best I've ever tried. I was going to say it's maybe 95% as good as the real thing. But if I'm being totally honest, if I hadn't known it was decaf, I don't think I would have missed a beat. It's just a great coffee that happens to be decaf. You can't say fairer than that. As to the flavour profile. It's just want I like. A darkish chocolatey blend that brews a rich, syrupy espresso perfectly paired with milk.
Delicious All Rounder.
Lovely coffee, having been using this at home in our coffee machine for a while now
Long time happy subscribers, consistently great coffee, reasonably priced. Love the social work they do too!
I have been a long time customer of Old Spike and always enjoy their coffee. Their magic is an ability to bring out the unique flavour of each of the different beans they roast. Also really like their current eco-friendly packaging.
Excellent, I'm always sure I'll enjoy your coffee even if I try new flavour.
This really is the most amazing coffee. The description is extremely accurate you really can taste / smell the chocolate. A very special coffee experience!
The best!
This my favourite blend of coffee. I now find it hard to drink anything else. Just opening my jar makes me happy.
Amazing coffee! The decaf is the best I’ve ever had — smooth, full of flavor, and not bitter. Love the flexible subscription too. Highly recommend!
Very happy with this coffee subscription and always look forward to the new batch arriving. Varied and interesting coffees, and very high quality.
Great coffee, in London or at home. Totally my favourite coffee brand ever!
This is probably the most enjoyable coffee I have ever had!! Highly recommend!!
Migoti Coffee is dedicated to sustainable farming practices that address the biennial yield cycle of coffee in Burundi, a pattern where yearly yields alternate between high and low. The company promotes reforestation with shade trees, soil stabilisation, and mulching to enhance soil health and mitigate the effects of erratic rainfall and climate variability.
Although climate change has not yet had a significant impact on coffee production at Migoti's high-altitude farms, the company is actively monitoring potential future threats. Research in the region suggests a likelihood of longer dry seasons, landslides, and shifting rainfall patterns, which Migoti aims to adapt to with resilient farming practices.
In 2024, Migoti Coffee began constructing a water reservoir and pipe network near the Kinama washing station to address local water access issues. The project includes a 50 cubic meter reservoir and a hydraulic ram pump to transport water uphill to supply nearby communities. The initiative, expected to serve over 4,800 residents, will provide clean drinking water to local families, reduce waterborne diseases, and support better educational outcomes for girls who typically shoulder the responsibility of fetching water.
