About Excelsa (South Sudan)
This limited microlot is your chance to try something genuinely different. Grown in South Sudan, Excelsa is one of coffee’s rarer varieties, with a distinctive character that brings together lighter, brighter flavours and deeper, richer notes in the same cup.
It’s not just interesting to drink, either. Excelsa is gaining attention for its resilience in a changing climate, making it an exciting glimpse at what the future of coffee could look like.
With around 25% less caffeine than typical coffee, it’s a great choice when you want plenty of flavour without quite as much caffeine. And because this is a limited microlot, once it’s gone, it’s gone.
For curious coffee drinkers ready to explore beyond the usual, this is a rare opportunity to discover something new — and a little taste of where coffee might be heading next.
Celebrating 10 Years of social impact through coffee.
We roast in London and run cafés across the city. The business and the Employment Programme are the same thing: every bag, wholesale account and flat white funds training and paid work for people who have experienced homelessness.
