HAPPY CAPYBARA DECAF
Happy Capybara decaf is a regional blend from Minas Gerais, the 4th largest state in Brazil where about 74% of Brazil’s total coffee volume is produced.
Our partner importer, Volcafé, works closely with hundreds of farmers throughout Minas Gerais, where they employ five quality analysts who are responsible for selecting, evaluating and carefully curating regional blends, in this case our Happy Capybara regional decaf. Once purchased the coffee is screened for defects and eventually prepared for export to Bremen, Germany, where the coffee is decaffeinated using the EA method.
Happy Capybara is designed to deliver an exceptional coffee experience without the caffeine. Expect a flavour profile featuring notes of milk chocolate, and sweet brown sugar which add a delightful caramel-like depth, balancing out the richness.

Sourcing Quality Coffee
We ensure the coffees we serve are as fresh and seasonal as possible to showcase the wonderful diversity of flavours and aromas found in different coffees around the world.
We also have a strong focus on quality. Higher quality means a better price for the farmer, so it is very important that we continue to work with the producers that consistently supply us with high scoring coffees. This helps them secure a higher price which is often 4 - 5 times higher than the Fairtrade minimum.
